Frost in our Outdoor Learning Space

Frost is on the roof.
Frost is on the ground.
Frost is on the window.
Frost is all around.

Students read this poem and learned the words the and on.  Friday we took time to go outside and create frost pictures using watercolors and salt.  It is fun to turn the outdoors into a classroom!

I Went Walking

After reading the book I Went Walking in class we took the book outside to read. We then enjoyed a walk outside before writing about what we saw on this walk.

A visit from Chief Evans

On Monday we were lucky to have a visit from police chief Michael Evans.  His visit included the reading of the book Hooray for Wodney Wat which each student received a copy of from Chief Evans.
