Do You Want to Build A Snowman?

Just before vacation students took a break from the classroom to practice teamwork, collaboration, communication and strategy while building snowmen.  We will use this experience as a writing prompt after vacation as we begin to work on procedures!  Do you know the steps for building a snowman?

100th day!

Students created and shared collections of 100 items to celebrate the 100th day of school! They also spent time creating a paper chain with 100 links and worked to build the tallest tower of 100 paper cups.

Playing with Shadows!

We used Groundhog's day as an excuse to play with shadows.  Students learned about the sun and drew what they say in the night sky as we began our Day and Night study.
